Q: How do I leave a comment?
A: When viewing a post, just beneath the title of that post entry are two links, for example:
Click on th “Discussion” link beneath the post entry’s title. A box will appear allowing you to type in your comment. When you’re done, click the “Submit” button just below the comment box.
Your comments will appear below the post just after the page refreshes.
Q: What about privacy in comments?
A: Comments are sent for moderation before being approved. But we will only hold the comment if it has content we deem inappropriate for our site. As a general rule, you should not post any information you would not want broadcast about you on the evening news, for example. Realize that anything you put in comments is subject to search engines and public scrutiny.
Q: How do I subscribe to email update notifications?
A: Your method of subscription depends upon whether you are a registered user or not. If you are not a registered user, you must use this page to subscribe. New users are given the opportunity to subscribe during the registration confirmation process. Already registered users can subscribe or unsubscribe to notifications by visiting their user profile preferences page and clicking the “Subscriptions” link. Once on the Subscriptions page you can choose your delivery format and select which categories you would like to be notified about.
Plain Text notifications contain no special formatting, images, or media. HTML notifications may contain formatting similar to web pages, including text formatting and images. At this time, AMFE does not use any special images or media in our HTML notifications unless such items are contained in the body of the post itself.
Those users choosing Plain Text notifications have the options of receiving the entire text of the post in the email, or just the excerpt, which is usually the first 50 characters or so. HTML notifications are always sent with the entire post, regardless of the Full/Excerpt option chosen.
Q: How do I change my password or update my user information/preferences?
A: Registered users have the ability to update their information and preferences for this site - including email address and password - by logging in to the site, then visiting the “Site Admin” link in the sidebar. Once in the Profile page, you have two options to choose from - Your Profile and Subscriptions. You can update your information - including your email address, name, and password - on the Your Profile page, and change email notification settings - including adding or removing categories to be notified about when new items are posted.

Q: Why do you need my email address?
A: We require users to register with a legitimate address as a security precaution against spammers and other web abusers who use site comments for their purposes.
Q: What do you do with my email address?
A: Your email address is used strictly for notifications or communication with you by site administrators. We do not sell or barter email addresses or personal information about you with any persons or entities. As of this time, your address is only used to send your password when you register.
