AMFE would like to thank the Pipeliners Voluntary Fund for their donation to the Ellie Willaert Benefit Fund. They write:
To Whom It May Concern:
We were sorry to hear about Ellie’s diagnosis of Brain Stem Glioma. We realize this is a difficult for her and her family. Perhaps we can make things a little easier financially with the enclosed Pipeliners Voluntary Fund check.
The Voluntary Fund is helping you according to its basic goal, to help our own in their time of dire need. This assistance is possible because there are members of Pipeliners Union 798 who care enough about the welfare of their Brothers and Sisters to contribute voluntarily to this Fund for that purpose.
With best wishes, we remain
Sincerely and fraternally,
Daniel C. Hendrix

Financial Secretary-Treasurer
Thank you to the Pipeliners Voluntary Fund!!
AMFE would like to thank People In Business Care for their donation to the Ellie Willaert Benefit Fund. They write:
Dear Ellie:
From time to time we can all use a helping hand. People In Business Care was established for that very reason.
The enclosed check…to you as financial assistance represents a helping hand to you at this time in your life. All we would ask is that you extend a similar helping hand, whether it be a good deed or a gift of money when you see the need and are in a better position to provided it.
We wish you the very best.
God bless,
People In Business Care
Thank you to People In Business Care!!
AMFE would like to thank Amy’s Kids for their efforts and contribution to the Ellie Willaert Benefit Fund. Amy writes:
We’re pulling for you Ellie! My kids held a “spa day” to raise funds for you and your family. They’ll be doing another one later this month. You’re getting lots of prayers from Inver Grove Heights!
Thank you to Amy’s Kids! (& Amy too!)
(And Uncle Andrew apologizes for the slow response on getting this Thank You up!)

AMFE has received information on a new fundraising event for Ellie: Niki’s close friend Jill is arranging a garage sale August 15th & 16th at Wagner Park in New Market. All proceeds will be donated to the Ellie Willaert Benefit Fund to help with medical and living expenses due to Ellie’s current battle with DIPG.
We are in need of items to be donated to the sale. Examples may include the following:
- Clothing: Infant, toddler, kids, juniors, womens and mens
- Household Items: Small/medium/large appliances, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dish sets, pictures, frames, blankets, towels, bedding
- Furniture: Dressers, bed frames, couches, chairs, tables, patio furniture
- Toys, books, puzzles, games
- Electronics: Functioning computers, printers, TV’s
- Baby items: Strollers, cribs, basinettes, jumpers, diaper bags
We also need volunteer help to pull the benefit off:
- Set-up: Evenings, weekend(s) prior to garage sale to organize and price tag
- Help both days at the sale
- Signs/Brouchures/Flyers/Annoucements
- Cash Register
We could also use a cash register and tables (clearly labeled) to borrow for the day.
Please leave a comment on this post if you can assist and AMFE will forward your information to Jill. Or, you can contact Jill directly at jfriedges@integra.net.
